The castle-style buildings with the combination of Chinese and Western stands at the end of the mountain, and the cultural relics in the museum tell their legendary stories.
Yisa is one of the important hometowns of overseas Chinese in Yunnan. It is also worth visiting near the ancient town. People enjoying the cool in the alley and shopkeepers napping in the afternoon waiting for customers, the breath of life in a slow city is reflected by the sunshine.
The town of Yusa in Honghe County was established on the top of the mountain. It was an important logistics town in the southwest during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. It has a long history of caravan culture. "Yisa" means a place with drought and water shortage in Yi language. It was first inhabited by the Brah people of Yi nationality.
In the early years of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1662), the Han people moved in. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736), copper mines were discovered, and the smelting of Hongfa Copper Factory flourished. As a result, domestic and foreign merchants and various craftsmen poured in. For a time, the rapid development and construction of private buildings, horse transport, culture and education, buildings and temples, and small handicrafts. The north of the small town is the Red River of thousands of miles, and the south is the continuous mountainous area, where the post road and the waterway meet, so Yisa has naturally become the necessary post station and material distribution center between the mainland and the river. In the collision between civilization and barbarism, survival and development, the city of Sa Mountain has become a unique ancient city in the mountains of southern Yunnan.
The surrounding mountains are very spectacular, and the roads go up and down. The "Dongmen Caravan Ancient City" is even more amazing. There is a European-style castle standing on the top of the mountain. The caravan merchants who have gone out from here for generations have left the ancient city. There are many traces of caravans, the fusion place of overseas Chinese culture and ethnic minority culture, and a unique city built on the "cloud.

1. The most convenient way is to take the high-speed rail to Jianshui, and then take the bus to Honghe County.

Take a bus to Honghe Baohua Township at each long-distance bus station in the province.
Self-driving route: Kunmo Expressway leaves Yuanjiang Exit at Honghe Bridge, travels along the connecting line → Yuanhong Road to Yusa Town, and turns into X102 → XG77 to Baohua Township.
Bus routes 3 and 5 run every half an hour, the last bus from Monday to Friday is 18 o'clock, and the last bus on the 6th is 17 o'clock. Can't wait to ride a shared electric car.
